People don’t struggle with change
because it’s difficult. They struggle when there’s no space to adapt.
I’ve witnessed this repeatedly for more than 25 years and over 7,000 hours of coaching senior leaders.
Tunde Horvath, MA, MCC
My clients come to me not for traditional coaching, but to immerse in an adaptive space where they can feel seen in “no man’s land”; where the old doesn’t exist anymore and the new isn’t fully developed either.
Some arrive as business owners preparing to sell their company and step into an entirely new life. Others are women shaping decisions at the board level, or executives promoted again and again, facing ever-growing responsibilities. I’ve worked with technology leaders ready to leave corporate life to found schools, and with high-performing professionals searching for meaning after burnout. Each of them stands at a threshold between what was, and what wants to emerge.
My Journey
My path to understanding adaptation has been built through deep study and real-world practice. INSEAD Executive Master in Change. MIT Innovation Leadership. Master Certified Coach since 2012. Years learning with Peter Senge. Four years of Gestalt therapy training. Coaching hundreds of clients across tech, finance, healthcare, and beyond.
Living across the US and Europe for the past 20 years taught me that successful transformation requires more than vision and strategy: we all need space where adaptation becomes possible. Sometimes that space takes 10 minutes of intentional connection. Sometimes it requires a multiple day retreat. But when leaders master the art of creating these adaptive spaces, their people don’t just feel heard, they feel moved to act.
How I Help
I help leaders and coaches navigate the in-between zone, that uncomfortable space where old patterns no longer work but new ones haven’t yet taken hold. We work with both the practical elements (roles, team dynamics, stakeholders, tasks) and the deeper leadership journey of crossing thresholds into who you’re becoming.
Through my methodology combining systems thinking, archetypal intelligence, and experiential learning, we create an adaptive space where this deep inner work becomes the fuel to deal with intense adaptive challenges out there.
My Approach
I can’t offer quick fixes or ways to drive change harder. This work is about mastering the art of creating space for real adaptation to your next reality. My hope is that AI will free up time for the one thing technology can never replicate: the genuine human touch that makes or breaks critical moments.
Through ‘Space to Adapt,’ I share this work with leaders and coaches through writing, speaking, and coaching, because the world needs more people who are ready to transform how we collectively approach change.
